Two modes
At home, the app talks to your cameras directly. Away, it talks to your recorder through the NetMagen relay. You choose on the app's first screen.
Local NVR
View your IP cameras directly on your home network. No account or desktop app needed.
Remote NVR
Watch your NetMagen Vision desktop NVR from anywhere — live view, the archive and Vision AI, through the NetMagen relay.
What it does

Add a camera by address or let Find Cameras sweep your Wi-Fi. ONVIF fills in the stream paths, and your cameras land in a grid with their reachability at a glance. Passwords stay in the phone's Android Keystore and never leave it.

Sign in and your recorder's cameras appear. One tap opens full-screen live. Every byte travels through the NetMagen relay on a pinned, signed connection; your computer only ever connects outward.

A calendar with a dot on every recorded day, a day summary, and the same 24-hour timeline as the desktop, with motion and sound marked. Drag to scrub, zoom from a full day down to one minute, jump to a time, and read the speech transcript below the timeline.

The people and licence plates your recorder recognises, on your phone: name them, watch the ones that matter, merge duplicates, clear the review queue with ranked matches, and jump from a sighting straight into the recording.
Invite family or staff from your NetMagen account and give each member exactly the cameras and features they need. They see only what they were given, and Status shows you who is watching now.
Installing
Tap Download APK. Your browser may ask you to confirm that you want to keep an APK file: keep it.
Android asks once, per browser, to allow installs from this source: switch it on for the browser you downloaded with. You can switch it off again afterwards.
Open the downloaded file and tap Install, then Open. Local NVR needs nothing more.
Google Play Protect may say it has not seen this app before. Tap Scan app, or Install anyway: the app is signed with NetMagen's own key, and its fingerprint is on this page for you to check.
The app tells you when a newer version is out, and this page always has it. Install it over the old one and your cameras stay. Uninstalling the app removes them.

The app contains no advertising and no third-party trackers. The diagnostics it sends help us fix problems, and you can switch them off. The relay forwards your video and keeps none of it; your recordings stay on your recorder.

The file is signed with NetMagen's own certificate. This page shows the file's SHA-256 and the certificate's fingerprint. Check the SHA-256 of the file you downloaded with a checksum tool, and the signing certificate on a computer with apksigner verify --print-certs (or keytool -printcert -jarfile). Play Protect may ask you to scan the app or to install it anyway; both are normal for an app from outside Google Play.
No. Install the new version over the old one and your cameras stay. Uninstalling the app does delete them, along with the passwords stored on the phone.
Android phones running Android 8.0 or newer with an ARM processor, which is almost every phone sold since 2018. The app speaks nine languages: English, Spanish, French, Russian, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Hebrew and Arabic. It uses the same dark theme as the desktop recorder.
Not for Local NVR: it works with your cameras alone. Remote NVR and Vision AI sign in with your NetMagen account; Remote NVR also needs Remote Access on that account (you add it on netmagen.com) and NetMagen Vision running on a Windows or Linux computer that records your cameras.
The app does not send push notifications. Alerts come from the recorder itself: draw a zone in NetMagen Vision on your computer and it sends a Telegram message with a snapshot when someone crosses it.
