How to Test a CCTV Camera Power Supply That Fails Under Load
Test the camera power supply while the camera is operating. Compare DC voltage at the supply output and at the camera end of the power cable, including during startup and infrared activation. Then substitute a compatible known-good supply or a short known-good cable to isolate the adapter, wiring, connector or camera as the failing component.
