Choose a multi-sensor camera for coordinated wide coverage from one suitable position. Choose separate fixed cameras when the property needs distinct viewpoints, different lighting treatment, or views around corners and structural obstructions.
CCTV images flicker under indoor LED lighting when camera exposure captures rapid changes in light output from the LED driver. The result may appear as pulsing brightness or horizontal bands, particularly when exposure timing and the lighting cycle do not align.
Choose the frame rate around the movement you need to read, not the smoothest live picture. Then verify shutter speed, lighting, bitrate and recorded playback in the actual scene. A high frame rate cannot recover detail already blurred by a long exposure.
